Beautiful etruscan bucchero nero caryatid chalice, Rasmussen 1979, "Chalice" type 1, "caryatid chalice", composed of a large bowl, incised with little flower frieze, vertical lines and bretzel-like shaped patterns. The inside is molded with concentric circles in the tondo and the underneath with molded radiating stripes.
The bowl lies on a foot, ornate with two knots and incised flowers and lines, surrounded with two caryatids and two rectangular openwork pieces.
