Rare black figure lebes gamikos decorated with numerous palmettes on the body and the lid. The palmette frieze is outlined on the lower part of the body by a meander frieze. The double handles are painted with black stripes and surmounted by a leaf-like applique.A small relief face of Medusa is placed below the handles on each side.
The lid is decorated with palmettes and surmounted with a pseudo-vase. For a  similar example see the Prague National Museum

Esatern Greek art, probably Rhodes, end of the 6th - early 5th century B.C.

Comes with a TL test.
