pyxide italo-corinthienne - Etrusco-Corinthian pyxis Jolie pyxide étrusco-corinthienne, Etrurie, Vème siècle av. J.-C.,  composé de deux parties cylindriques s'emboîtant l'une dans l'autre. Le couvercle est décoré de lignes concentriques sur les paroies extérieures, de couleurs rouge, noire et brun-foncé. L'ornementation sur le le haut du couvercle se compose d'une frise de  motifs en L. Cette forme dérive de la pyxide corinthienne dite "powder pyxis", Payne 1931, datant du corinthien récent II, -625/-500.

Nice etrusco-corinthian pyxis, Etruria, 5th century B.C., made out of two parts : the lower part is a plain tubular bowl and a lid which covers it. The side of the  lid is decorated with red, black and dark brown lines and the top with a frieze of L-shaped motives. This shape comes from a corinthian pyxis shape called "powder pyxis", Paynes 1931, from the recent corinthian period - -625/-500.
